Working with about-face

  • What kind of creators AF looks for? People with a game-changing, artistry background and unique looks.
  • Want to get on the PR list? AF has an amazing social team that reads DMs on the brand’s page. Hit them up, and send them your makeup look. If you don’t have about-face, show them your look anyways saying you’d like to try on their products.
  • When reaching out, give AF as much information as people to make their job easier: link high-performance content, gorgeous video content you did, how you worked with similar brands in the past, etc. Put it all in one sheet, and keep it simple and efficient.
  • Timeliness, e-mail etiquette, and communication skills are highly appreciated by brands. Don’t forget to hit “reply-all”! If you only e-mail one person, you’ll lose all of the team.
